This incident resulted in the partial shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking area.

An additional two individuals are now in custody related to a robbery at Heathrow Airport where 21 people sustained injuries by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area on suspicion of robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was detained for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both remain in custody, the force said.

These detentions come after a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the incident, two women had stolen from them their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured during the incident. A total of five individuals went to hospital for treatment and were later released.

Police detained a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault near the location. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Authorities were called at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of a number of people hurt by an irritating chemical thought to be pepper spray.

The assault - an event that police said was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - caused delays to rail services and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
